This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Comprehends customer requirements and delivers wealth and investment-related sales and services to BMO clients or potential clients.
• Provides guidance to customers on wealth and investment strategies and products that align with their objectives.
• Carries out sales and service activities for customers in accordance with established procedures.
• Recognizes and refers clients to other business divisions as necessary.
• May initiate outbound calls to clients and actively seek opportunities to improve customer experience by recommending products that fulfill investment needs.
• Keeps updated on consumer demands, industry trends, best practices, and the regulatory landscape related to the products and services offered.
• Delivers professional-grade sales and service for inquiries, issues, and requests from customers and prospects.
• Inquires to fully understand customer needs and guides them through their individual investment requirements.
• Attains sales targets with an emphasis on applicable investment products.
• Oversees all transactional outcomes from customer interactions or refers to the appropriate internal teams.
• Escalates complex or unresolved customer issues to senior management as needed.
• Completes any necessary documentation post-customer interactions to ensure accurate processing of requests.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends, incorporating this information into customer discussions professionally.
• Integrates marketing promotions and initiatives into customer dialogues where suitable.
• Ensures the confidentiality of customer and Bank information is upheld.
• Detects and reports suspicious activity patterns that may indicate money laundering.
• Complies with regulatory and compliance standards.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• Familiarity with competitive market trends and product offerings.
• Knowledge of BMO Investment and BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / CIRO licensed as an Investment Representative.
• Basic understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.
• Specialized knowledge is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
