This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Project Teams, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the organization to perform learning and performance needs assessments, establish learning objectives, and propose suitable learning solutions.
• Oversee instructional design initiatives from the initial intake and analysis phase through to design, development, evaluation, and handover, ensuring that solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Suggest the most effective learning strategies and delivery methods (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended, job aids, performance support) based on the target audience, context, and goals.
• Organize, design, and produce high-quality learning solutions that cater to both business and professional development needs in English and French.
• Utilize instructional design and adult learning methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to craft engaging, learner-centered experiences.
• Create learning assessments and evaluation strategies to gauge learning effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.
• Relay project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines to facilitate effective coordination of resources, capacity planning, and delivery milestones.
• Assist in the ongoing enhancement of L&D practices by sharing insights, templates, and best practices.
• Proven track record in designing and developing learning solutions utilizing tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, or other authoring software.
• Established knowledge and experience in applying instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning project management techniques.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (both oral and written) is essential.
• Demonstrated capability to manage learning projects from start to finish, including stakeholder engagement and multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience in designing and creating technical or complex learning content.
• Familiarity with digital adoption or in-application learning tools (e.g., Whatfix or similar) to integrate guidance, job aids, and performance support directly within business systems.
• Ability to swiftly acquire new subject matter knowledge and collaborate effectively with SMEs.
• Experience in the insurance sector is considered a plus.
