Bilingual Immigration Paralegal – Declarations Writer, English-Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Preparing and documenting client declarations.

• Legal Packet Preparation: Assemble middle-role legal packets, which include cover letters, correspondence, and forms, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and a logical structure based on templates and case specifics.

• Conducting research and gathering relevant information.

• Learning and implementing internal processes.

• Engaging in client communication.

• Contributing to collaborative teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• At least 6 months of experience handling humanitarian immigration cases (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, Family Based).

• Experience in gathering declarations and drafting legal documents.

• Basic understanding of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows.

• Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

• Strong command of written drafting, grammar, syntax, and legal style.

• Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent client communication skills marked by clarity, empathy, and professionalism.

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to swiftly learn new processes, workflows, and legal concepts.

• Client-focused mindset with an awareness of humanitarian cases.
