This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• The PathwayConnect grader is an essential member of our instructional team, utilizing subject matter expertise to evaluate student work through a systematic and uniform assessment process.
• Graders assess student submissions by effectively using program-created rubrics and feedback templates, diligently adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure precise and consistent grading, actionable feedback, and prompt turnaround times.
• This role directly impacts student achievement through insightful assessment and guidance.
• This position does not involve direct interaction with students and is neither a teaching nor a curriculum development role.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (mandatory)
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline with strong academic performance in basic English/Spanish and Math subjects
• A solid understanding of and commitment to BYU-Pathway Worldwide’s mission, key attributes, and student demographics
• Ability to meticulously follow and apply strict procedures and guidelines with precision and efficiency
• Capability to maintain focus (even during repetitive tasks) while managing complex cognitive demands
• Quick adaptability to new processes, procedures, and technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills—specifically the ability to be considerate, respectful, unbiased, and professional in emotionally charged situations
• Proven reliability in fulfilling commitments and executing tasks properly and punctually (with minimal prompting)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Candidates must be fluent in both Spanish and English and submit their application in English to be considered.
• Only individuals currently residing in and authorized to work in Argentina, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Spain are eligible.
• Employees guide students by example and advise them on making choices that reflect these principles and expectations, while acknowledging the distinct roles of employees and students, and how these roles influence their decisions.
• Meet stringent department certification criteria to demonstrate mastery of the content being assessed.
• Regular access to high-speed internet is required.
• Attendance at periodic team meetings (as determined by the department) is mandatory.
