Bilingual Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls in a professional and effective manner

• Negotiate payment plans and address overdue accounts

• Maintain regular follow-up communication with clients

• Precisely record all account interactions and updates

• Ensure adherence to FDCPA and collection regulations

• Achieve and surpass individual and team performance objectives

• Uphold professionalism and composure in challenging conversations

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in BPO collections is a must

• Experience in third-party collections is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of FDCPA and compliance regulations related to collections

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient in Spanish communication

• Strong skills in negotiation and handling objections

• Goal-oriented approach with the ability to achieve performance targets

• Previous experience in remote or work-from-home settings is preferred

• Must be permanently located in or near Barranquilla, Colombia
