Bilanzbuchhalter, HGB – Hauptbuch, Debitoren/Kreditoren, Abschlüsse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independent management of ongoing financial accounting

• Classification and posting of business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting

• Processing and monitoring of payment transactions as well as dunning procedures

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB

• Preparation of VAT advance returns and participation in tax reporting

• Reconciliation and monitoring of accounts, ensuring proper bookkeeping

• Creation of business evaluations, liquidity planning, and cost center accounting

• Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks

• Contribution to the further development of accounting processes and internal controls

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial training

• Ideally supplemented by further education as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• Experience in financial accounting, particularly in general ledger as well as accounts receivable and payable accounting

• Proficient in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB

• Knowledge in handling VAT advance returns and tax-related topics

• Proficient with common accounting systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel

• Ability to work in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner

• Strong numerical understanding

• Reliability and responsibility in handling sensitive data

• Enjoy working in a team and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
