Bilanzbuchhalter, Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB

• Responsible for ongoing financial accounting and account reconciliations

• Preparation of VAT advance returns and other tax submissions

• Provision and preparation of reliable financial data as a basis for controlling, forecasts, reports, and management evaluations

• Collaboration with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities

• Contribution to debtor project accounting

• Development and optimization of digital accounting and finance processes

• Creation of reports, statistics, and analyses for management

• Support in payment transactions and receivables management

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training with further education as a certified accountant or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting

• Excellent knowledge of accounting according to HGB

• Proficient use of ERP/accounting systems (ideally Dynamics 365 Business Central) as well as very good Excel skills

• Basic understanding of controlling, reporting, and business metrics

• Structured, independent, and meticulous working style

• High level of responsibility and reliability

• Analytical thinking ability and enjoyment of digital processes

• Strong communication skills and team spirit – even in a remote environment

• Good German language skills, both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage

• Interest in effectively utilizing modern digital tools and AI applications in day-to-day finance operations
