Big Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data transformation.

• Implement and support data pipelines based on Spark.

• Contribute to data integration initiatives across the platform.

• Analyze and resolve data-related issues.

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of data within the systems.

• Collaborate closely with functional and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

• Work within agile teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of data solutions.

• Participate in DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.

• Explore and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance data engineering and automation processes (preferred).

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.

• Strong knowledge of SQL (ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL).

• Practical experience with Spark.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Scala, Python, or Java.

• Experience with Big Data environments such as Azure Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hive, or Cloudera.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD (Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus).

• Ability to work effectively in agile teams.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in English: B2 level or higher.
