This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.
• Assess received bid packages, which include architectural drawings, specification documents, and bid requirements, to determine project feasibility and compatibility with the scope.
• Determine the technical scope related to aluminum systems, steel systems, glass types, and relevant hardware.
• Collaborate with the Bid Coordinator and Bid Manager to ensure all required documentation (COI, certificates, agreements) and technical clarifications are addressed.
• Examine project drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections, details, door schedules, hardware schedules, and specifications.
• Identify all pertinent aluminum, steel, and glazing components necessary for precise project assessment.
• Serve as the main technical filter for incoming project opportunities.
• Assess project suitability prior to sending approved projects to the estimation team.
• Keep the bid pipeline and its stages in HubSpot updated to accurately reflect project status and advancement.
• Detect missing information, inconsistencies, or technical issues in bid documents.
• Draft and coordinate formal RFIs to secure essential clarifications.
• Review project addendums and revisions to pinpoint scope changes.
• Immediately coordinate updates with the estimation team to maintain the accuracy of estimates.
• Provide technical assistance to estimators during the bid preparation phase.
• Aid in adjusting estimates based on the latest project documentation.
• Support the team by preparing precise quantity take-offs and estimates if necessary.
• Assist in evaluating the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Help in the preparation of bid submission packages.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.
• Take ownership of the bid pipeline within HubSpot, including bid stages, deadlines, submission requirements, and project statuses.
• Ensure that all opportunities are appropriately linked to projects, companies, and contacts within the CRM.
• Maintain visibility and organization of the technical bid pipeline to enhance estimation workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate the procurement and collection of necessary bid documents such as Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Bonds, Licenses, Certifications, Safety records, and Compliance documentation.
• Maintain organized and secure documentation systems.
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure that all technical clarifications and updates are communicated to the client before submission deadlines.
• Ensure a seamless flow of information between the Bid Department and Estimation Team.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in construction, engineering, estimation, or technical project support.
• Proficient in reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Experience in aluminum, glass systems, or comparable construction sectors is a plus.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Experience in managing bid workflows, deadlines, and submission processes.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level.
• Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
• Experience or familiarity with take-off software is a plus, such as:
• - Bluebeam
• - PlanSwift
• - Similar drawing analysis tools
• Basic understanding of CRM or project tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
