BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, the BI Development Team, and other systems analysts to assess business requirements and convert them into Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (DW/BI) solutions.

• Design, construct, and implement BI solutions, including reporting tools.

• Maintain and provide support for data analytics platforms such as SQL Server, Power BI, Analysis Services, and Integration Services.

• Develop tools for data storage like Databases and OLAP cubes.

• Perform unit testing and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Assess and enhance current BI systems.

• Work with teams to integrate different systems effectively.

• Create and run database queries while conducting analyses.

• Generate visualizations and reports for specified projects.

• Create and update technical documentation as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a BI Developer.

• Experience in data warehouse design, particularly in dimensional modeling.

• Comprehensive knowledge of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process.

• Familiarity with BI technologies, such as Microsoft Power BI and Reporting Services.

• Proficient in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• Proven capability to take initiative and foster innovation.

• Strong analytical skills paired with a knack for problem-solving.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
