This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and sustain enterprise dashboards and reports in Power BI utilizing governed enterprise data.
• Provide comprehensive reporting solutions from the confirmation of requirements to production support.
• Source, cleanse, normalize, and present data effectively.
• Create, automate, and manage user-friendly dashboards and reports.
• Oversee report refreshes, operations, and defect resolution within the enterprise BI layer.
• Construct and enhance Microsoft Tabular semantic models and metric definitions.
• Implement enrichment metric calculations and segment classifications for central dashboards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on logical and physical data modeling.
• Conduct quality checks on metrics and semantic models prior to release.
• Test and ensure the accuracy and integrity of dashboard and report data.
• Monitor automated ETL and BI processes to assess successes and failures.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues related to dashboards, models, and data delivery.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to BI end users.
• Work with end users to identify enhancements in data management and delivery.
• Partner with Data Engineering and BI Developer teams on pipelines, models, and metric definitions.
• Train and assist end users on BI tools, dashboards, and reports.
• Document the purposes of dashboards, metric definitions, data sources, and refresh dependencies.
• Adhere to documentation standards and contribute metadata to the enterprise catalog.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated experience as a BI Developer, BI Analyst, or in a similar position delivering enterprise BI solutions.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end reporting solutions from requirements to production support.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Power BI, including Tabular models, DAX, and semantic modeling.
• Strong understanding of medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) and governed enterprise data.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills, including queries, stored procedures, functions, DDL, and DML.
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with the Azure data stack.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ERDs, workflow diagrams, and dimensional (Kimball) modeling.
• Working knowledge of data types, normalization, data quality analysis, and efficient BI modeling.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access for enterprise BI and certified data sources.
• Detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Openness to learning modern BI and analytics tools.
• A collaborative mindset when working with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and end users.
• Commitment to continuous learning in modern BI and analytics practices.
• Access to broadband with a minimum speed of 30 Mbps.
• Broadband service must be from an approved national provider such as Jio, Tata, Airtel, or Hathway Fiber.
• A dedicated, quiet home office space capable of accommodating two monitors and one laptop.
• Must ensure a safe and secure setup and usage of company IT assets.
• Candidates who do not meet the mandatory home-office and IT asset requirements will not be considered.
• Necessary equipment will be provided, including one or two monitors, one laptop, and supporting accessories.
• Additional tools for the role, if needed, will be supplied.
