This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.
• Building and nurturing relationships with utilities, power producers, investment funds, developers, asset owners, and channel partners.
• Analyzing, defining, and implementing business development strategies.
• Evaluating and initiating utility-scale storage project sales across Finland and Sweden.
• Crafting and executing outreach strategies targeting significant market players and prospective clients.
• Leading the development of commercial and technical solutions for FlexGen clients and business partners.
• Traveling to customer and project locations (approximately 60%).
• Proven experience in distributed energy project development or delivering software and solutions to support BESS portfolios.
• Fostering relationships with utilities, BESS asset owners, BESS developers, and channel partners.
• Evaluating and initiating utility-scale storage project sales across Finland, Sweden, and other European nations.
• Background in electric power, renewable energy (solar, wind, battery), industrial communication, or electrical services.
• Capable of communicating effectively in both formal and informal environments.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Preferred minimum degree in engineering or a technical field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in sales or business development.
• Preferred experience with commercial energy negotiations, electricity market/resource planning analysis, and/or new market entry strategies.
• Experience in customer management.
• Familiarity with the power industry, battery storage, power converters, power system design, and/or battery energy storage controls or ecosystem software.
• High proficiency in Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
