This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of a designated portfolio of benefits clients.
• Act as the main contact for inquiries related to benefits administration, system setup, and compliance.
• Efficiently address complex client issues while keeping clients updated on progress and expected resolution times.
• Foster strong collaborations with Carrier Relations, Client Relations, Systems, Payroll, Sales, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Record all client interactions, actions taken, and resolutions in the case management system.
• Lead the specification and execution of benefits plan designs for renewals and new client additions.
• Ensure data integrity across all benefits systems, confirming the accuracy of enrollments, elections, rates, and system records.
• Serve as an expert in benefits administration and HRIS platforms.
• Enhance benefits systems through data analysis, workflow improvements, procedure documentation, and process enhancements.
• Oversee quality control and compliance with established procedures.
• Manage open cases to guarantee timely resolutions.
• Ensure precise triage, escalation, and follow-through on all inquiries.
• Identify recurring service challenges or usage patterns and propose solutions.
• Lead initiatives for service efficiency, automation possibilities, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Take initiative in professional development, stretch assignments, and special projects.
• Mentor and support Benefits Specialist I or junior team members when necessary.
• Actively contribute to departmental goals, quarterly objectives, and strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in the field.
• Over 4 years of experience in benefits services or benefits administration.
• Strong experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to make independent, sound decisions in a client-facing role.
