This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to leave, offering compassionate and prompt assistance to team members dealing with FMLA, ADA, and personal leaves.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of multi-state Leaves of Absence (LOAs), ensuring effective collaboration between payroll, people operations, and external carriers.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Federal and State regulations (including ERISA, ACA, and FMLA) to guarantee our leave policies are progressive and compliant.

• Manage NAB’s Benefit Programs, which include Health, Wellness, Leave, and Tuition Reimbursement, among others.

• Address team member inquiries regarding benefits with prompt, fair, and respectful service.

• Collaborate with brokers to develop and provide enrollment and onboarding materials.

• Keep plan documents and notices up to date to comply with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.

• Assist in gathering documentation for plan audits.

• Revise policies in accordance with current Federal and State regulations.

• Reconcile carrier billings and manage administrative fee payments.

• Analyze trends and costs to propose enhancements and cost containment strategies.

• Administer 401(k) plans, encompassing enrollment, distributions, and 5500 filings.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• At least three (3) years of experience in employee benefits procedures for a multi-state employer.

• Experience with HRIS, including the generation of ad hoc reports.

• Experience with self-funded Benefit Plans is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of plan designs and benefit contract terminology.

• Proficient in using HRIS platforms for intricate data management and ad-hoc report generation.

• Strong capability to use spreadsheets and presentation tools for interpreting complex data.

• CEBS Certification (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist), PHR, or SHRM-CP is an advantage.
