This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the management and billing reconciliation of the company's benefit plans.
• Provide support to employees regarding benefit-related inquiries and concerns.
• Facilitate the enrollment and termination processes for employees in all available company benefit plans.
• Deliver educational training sessions for employees and managers on benefits programs.
• Work collaboratively with supported organizations to conduct benefits orientation.
• Act as the primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
• Review and reconcile monthly billing invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate and document updates in the benefits and payroll systems.
• Generate regular benefit reports by extracting data from the human capital management (HCM) system.
• Assist with claims and resolve issues between employees and various insurance providers.
• Maintain an up-to-date employee census and perform monthly updates for APEI and other supported organizations.
• Oversee the benefits open enrollment period by planning, generating reports, completing vendor uploads, and managing employee communications.
• Monitor federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance with benefit and wellness practices.
• Assess and revise internal processes, documenting them in standard operating procedure (SOP) documents.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with human resources systems (such as Ultipro or ADP) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
