This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Communicate insurance benefits to patients, including trial requirements and financial considerations.
β’ Assist patients and their care partners in understanding insurance coverage, eligibility, and financial options.
β’ Gather Out-of-Pocket Waivers and relay outcomes of financial assistance.
β’ Follow up with patients, caregivers, and SLPs to ensure comprehension and address any inquiries.
β’ Recognize customer needs and deliver timely, relevant solutions.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and the customer experience.
β’ Collect, analyze, and report Funding Team metrics to identify trends and boost efficiency.
β’ Maintain CRM accuracy, patient interaction records, benefits data, and documentation in accordance with company and HIPAA standards.
β’ Adhere to established departmental processes and procedures.
β’ Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
β’ High School Diploma or GED is required.
β’ Basic understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
β’ Capability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
β’ Proficient communication skills via email, phone calls, and text.
β’ Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when assisting customers.
β’ Ability to identify customer needs and offer timely, relevant information.
β’ Competence in reporting trends and customer feedback, along with recommending or implementing solutions.
β’ Strong communication abilities with both external customers and internal departments.
β’ Flexibility with workload, adaptability to change, and prioritization skills.
β’ Capacity to accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities.
β’ An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with HubSpot, Office 365, and Zoom is preferred.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare-related setting is preferred.
β’ Ability to operate a computer with or without reasonable accommodations.
β’ Reliable internet access and a safe, productive home work environment.
