This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take full ownership of project management for a designated portfolio of clients.
• Oversee daily operations and maintain communication with internal support teams.
• Coordinate all elements of the client service process.
• Join the Broker on initial visits to prospective clients.
• Relay new client information to the onboarding team and supply AOR letters.
• Collaborate with department heads to establish a dedicated account management team.
• Work alongside internal teams to produce reports, renewals, benefit guides, open-enrollment materials, project timelines, technology solutions, and wellness strategies.
• Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with clients and communicate these to the marketing team.
• Align marketing and finance schedules, deliverables, carrier RFPs, contribution strategies, and plan options.
• Analyze current plans and COCs; identify coverage gaps, compliance issues, and propose changes or enhancements.
• Notify Compliance of items that require implementation or review.
• Set open-enrollment schedules in coordination with the Communications team.
• Florida License 2-15 or the ability to obtain it within the first 90 days.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent experience, such as a high school diploma with 5-7+ years in marketing or underwriting benefits.
• Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time.
• Strong understanding of employee benefit concepts and practices, including Fully Insured and Self-Funded products, Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, HIPAA, COBRA, and PPACA.
• Outstanding organizational and presentation abilities.
• Capability to inspire and motivate others to achieve desired outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Routine travel may involve driving a personal or rental vehicle.
• Acceptable results from an MVR report at the time of hiring and periodically thereafter.
• Maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages.
• Familiarity with AMS360 and ImageRight is preferred.
