Benefits Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the success and retention of a designated portfolio of clients.

• Direct and oversee the implementation of Bennie’s consulting model for assigned clients.

• Provide high-caliber benefits consulting services along with outstanding customer outcomes and satisfaction.

• Create and implement annual plans for customer accounts.

• Work alongside the consulting delivery team on strategic projects.

• Propel customer outcomes and assist in the development of the consulting delivery team.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.

• Inform and empower clients regarding industry and compliance changes.

• Partner with sales, tech operations, and product teams to identify business development and operational enhancement opportunities.

• Cultivate relationships with clients, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in benefits consulting, handling complex client accounts across small, mid-market, and large-group sectors.

• Proficient in various funding mechanisms.

• Extensive understanding of large-group regulatory compliance, including ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.

• Life & Health Producer’s License required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Preferably possess experience in team or project leadership.

• Experience with leading HR/Benefits technology platforms is a plus.

• Previous experience in both large- and small-group benefits consulting is favored.
