This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Examine our Scaler dataset, which encompasses strategy call recordings, revenue data, and portal information, to uncover significant patterns, themes, trends, and correlations.

• Investigate our top-performing Scalers to determine what sets them apart: their strategies, what they eliminate, how their teams reassemble, and how they elevate their baseline performance.

• Produce a monthly white paper for the Scaler community detailing effective strategies—core themes, behaviors of top performers, and measurable results from the past 30 days.

• Contribute to peer-reviewed academic business journals on a quarterly basis, establishing a credible research line focused on the science of scaling.

• Direct and oversee our data collection efforts—advise on what data should be gathered from Scalers and strategists, and continuously enhance the quality of the dataset.

• Proficiently utilize AI tools (we employ Avoma for call intelligence) to expedite theme detection and analysis across numerous engagements.

• Convert findings into clear, engaging written content and present them live to our Scaler community during events.

• Lay the groundwork for a sustainable research engine and intellectual property foundation for Scaling.com.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Ph.D. candidate, recent Ph.D. graduate, postdoctoral researcher, or early-career professor in business, psychology, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, or a related quantitative field.

• Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative research—you can design a study, conduct the analysis, and justify the methodology.

• Experience with (or a clear pathway towards) publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals within business or social sciences.

• Exceptional writing skills across various formats—sufficiently rigorous for an academic journal while remaining clear for a founder reading a white paper.

• Proficient with AI-assisted research and analysis tools, thriving in a dynamic, evolving dataset rather than a static archival one.

• Truly passionate about understanding the factors that drive business scaling—this is your research laboratory, not merely a transitional job.

• Familiarity with The Science of Scaling, resonating with its concepts, and ability to operate within our framework and vocabulary.

• Self-motivated and independent—capable of setting your agenda, presenting findings proactively, and not waiting for direction.

🏝️ Benefits

• Paid Time Off – Includes vacation days, sick leave, and company holidays.

• Remote Work Flexibility – Work from your preferred location (U.S.-based) with the structure, autonomy, and support necessary for success.
