This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and support staff.
• Conduct assessments and implement behavioral interventions, along with providing brief-targeted and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Deliver services through telehealth and may also be required to work on-site at the clinic.
• Administer behavioral health care in compliance with established standards, regulations, and the policies and procedures of PHC.
• Collaborate with healthcare and psychiatric providers at PHC.
• Offer both brief and long-term therapy to individuals and families at PHC clinics or via telehealth.
• Create and revise treatment plans as necessary.
• Address concerns or inquiries from referring providers, providing prompt and focused feedback.
• Refer clients to community mental health resources as needed.
• Keep current and precise documentation of services rendered, adhering to the standards set by PHC and grant requirements.
• A valid Social Worker (LISW or LMSW), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license recognized by the State of Iowa.
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field, as required for the license.
• Familiarity and experience with third-party payers and relevant regulations.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Mandatory Reporter Training for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse, recognized by the State of Iowa.
• Excellent professional skills with the ability to interact calmly and empathetically, including de-escalating challenging situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficient problem-solving skills with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheet applications, and electronic health records.
• Excellent collaboration and team-oriented skills.
• Good listening abilities.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
