This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee the creation and execution of innovative initiatives and collaborations aimed at enhancing delivery system outcomes related to whole health improvement, cost efficiency, and minimizing nonvalue-added care activities.
• Partner with internal data teams and external healthcare providers to design and implement quality metrics that facilitate behavioral health integration and align with provider programs, contracts, and Quintuple Aim objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and convey data insights to drive the implementation and ongoing enhancement of plans, programs, and procedures.
• Create, test, and refine curriculum and training resources to support the rollout and dissemination of new care models, evidence-based practices, and data-driven quality improvement initiatives across various business lines.
• Lead the design and execution of training sessions, collaboratives, and learning systems that promote and facilitate improvement.
• Head functional workgroups, committees, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to support behavioral health integration, foster consensus, and achieve system-level results.
• Represent CareOregon in external collaborations to develop contracts for technical assistance, cultivate partnerships, and encourage organizational learning and collaboration.
• Investigate and keep abreast of clinical and process improvement best practices, integrating insights into current operations.
• Formulate strategies for establishing and supporting a network of provider-based improvement advisors while providing coaching to promote the implementation and dissemination of best practices.
• Assess program efficiency and outcomes, recommending modifications to enhance impact, scalability, and sustainability.
• Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology) or in healthcare administration, business administration, or public health.
• At least 5 years of experience in the behavioral health sector, including the development and execution of strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, or at least 1 year in a supervisory position with the completion of CareOregon’s Aspiring Leaders Program.
• Experience in one or more of the following domains: Organizational process improvement, program development, or project management.
• Proficiency in quality measurement and evaluation (e.g., HEDIS, clinical program evaluation).
• Experience in outcomes measurement and feedback-informed care (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, ORS/SRS).
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and training design.
