Behavioral Health Care Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the mental well-being of cancer patients within a designated caseload.

• Implement brief behavioral interventions specifically designed for the oncology environment.

• Conduct screenings and assessments for prevalent mental health and substance use disorders.

• Encourage patient engagement and ensure follow-up care.

• Educate patients about prevalent mental health issues and substance use disorders, along with available treatment options.

• Methodically track treatment responses and observe patients for variations in clinical symptoms and treatment-related side effects or complications.

• Assist with the management of psychotropic medications as prescribed by medical professionals, emphasizing treatment adherence, side effects, and efficacy.

• Establish a trusted and effective working relationship with the partner oncology practice team.

• Collaborate with partner oncology groups to assist patients, clinicians, and practice staff in identifying and intaking patients requiring behavioral health support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a behavioral health, healthcare, or oncology environment (preferred).

• Must possess one of the following clinical licenses:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Committed to delivering evidence-based care with a proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team setting.

• Previous experience interacting with physicians and working within a multidisciplinary team.
