This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Configure, deploy, and provide support for Epic Beaker applications.
• Plan, design, develop, test, implement, and support Epic software solutions.
• Analyze and establish system requirements and specifications.
• Perform and document workflow analysis while assessing user experience.
• Support and maintain application environments utilizing domain expertise.
• Create and sustain implementation documentation and training resources.
• Configure modifications within Epic environments to ensure standardized, comprehensive workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct routine maintenance, update systems with new features, and implement new technologies.
• Guide and assist end-users while resolving system-related issues.
• Contribute to and independently oversee small to medium-sized projects.
• Provide stakeholders with timely updates regarding tasks, projects, and issues.
• Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis for routine to moderately complex challenges.
• Identify solutions and complete necessary documentation.
• Minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience with one or more Epic modules.
• An Associate's degree is required, or alternatively, 2 years of relevant work experience in place of an Associate's Degree.
• Epic Application Certification must be obtained within 6 months.
• Capability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks with basic to moderate complexity.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing priorities.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or related experience.
• Preferred: Beaker certification.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, relevant laws, and training requirements.
• Physical capability to lift up to 10 pounds consistently, 10 to 25 pounds occasionally, and 25 to 50 pounds infrequently.
• Remote-based position.
• Travel requirement of 0%–25%.
