Backend Web Developer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend web applications utilizing C#, .NET, and associated technologies.

• Build and support RESTful APIs, business services, and system integrations.

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to software engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to enhance React-based user experiences.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to development standards and technical quality.

• Develop and implement unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.

• Identify, diagnose, and remedy software defects and performance challenges.

• Ensure applications fulfill security, reliability, and scalability requirements.

• Support deployment validation and monitor production activities.

• Participate in system design and software architecture discussions.

• Recommend technical solutions that enhance application performance, maintainability, and scalability.

• Assess new technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.

• Create and maintain technical documentation while contributing to software development roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Demonstrated experience in developing web applications using C# and .NET technologies.

• Experience working within collaborative software engineering teams.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple development priorities.

• Associate degree (AS/AA) or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
