📋 Description

• Collaborating with team members to drive epics and technical projects.

• Actively engaging in shaping our technical strategy and discussing potential improvements for constructive dialogue within the team.

• Ensuring a scalable, maintainable, and secure micro-service architecture capable of handling anticipated loads and evolving iteratively as required.

• Participating in the on-call rotation and supporting the team while monitoring root causes and identifying potential system enhancements.

• Effective communication is essential within our team, and we aim to eliminate knowledge silos by fostering a culture of knowledge sharing through documentation such as RFCs and ADRs, or grooming meetings as needed to ensure team alignment before committing to a work plan.

• Collaborating closely with the product manager, engineering manager, and frontend engineers to align on action items and deliver high-quality features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience with Java and Spring Boot (or a comparable technology stack).

• Proficiency in REST APIs and event-driven communication patterns.

• Expertise with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Experience with AWS and Docker.

• Skilled in building testable, maintainable, and extendable systems.

• A strong commitment to best engineering practices.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
