Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engaging in discussions and crafting architectural strategies to provide effective solutions for our clients.

• Assisting the team in enhancing their capabilities to achieve outstanding technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity.

• Leading the development and upkeep of automated test suites; thoroughly investigating production issues; designing and implementing load tests, benchmarks, tools, and procedures to guarantee reliability.

• Supporting and mentoring engineers within the team, helping them reach new milestones in their professional journey.

• Assessing and deploying vital software tools, processes, and performance metrics.

• Actively participating in engineering-wide initiatives at CloudWalk.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing critical infrastructure and collaborating with leading cloud providers (e.g., GCP, AWS) and Terraform.

• In-depth understanding of relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, and ORM technologies, with a focus on the Rust ecosystem.

• Familiarity with the Brazilian payments landscape (installments, SPI, SPB, CIP, etc.).

• Expertise in software development utilizing Rust.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Proficient English communication skills, particularly for internal interactions with our diverse, multinational team.
