Backend Software Engineer – AI Neobank App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop backend services, APIs, and workflows for the AI Neobank application.

• Provide support for products in areas such as insurance, payments, wallets, savings, investing, travel, and financial services.

• Create dependable systems for user accounts, transactions, partner integrations, reconciliation, notifications, and operations.

• Collaborate with product and mobile teams to rapidly deliver customer-facing experiences.

• Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurance providers, data sources, and other partners.

• Enhance system reliability, observability, security, and performance.

• Develop systems that are practical, auditable, and prepared for regulated financial products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of backend engineering experience.

• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, system design, and production debugging.

• Experience in creating scalable services and integrating with third-party systems.

• Solid understanding of security, reliability, data quality, and operational edge cases.

• Ability to make practical trade-offs between speed, quality, and risk.

• Comfortable collaborating with product, mobile, operations, and business teams.

• Background in fintech, payments, insurance, lending, banking, or regulated products is a significant advantage.
