Backend Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services within a multi-tenant architecture, ensuring strict tenant data isolation and security.

• Create new features utilizing TypeScript and serverless architectures.

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, focusing on data modeling, migrations, and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.

• Build and manage integrations with third-party services and APIs, including authentication, webhooks, idempotent processes, and data reconciliation.

• Collaborate with external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement new integrations effectively.

• Design and maintain secure APIs and processes for data exchange with business partners.

• Ensure the secure management of sensitive information and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• Optimize and uphold Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms, ensuring consistency and stability across development, staging, and production environments.

• Support the integration of Machine Learning models with backend services and mobile applications.

• Lead infrastructure and service migrations (including email, DNS, and related services) while ensuring business continuity.

• Actively participate in technical decisions related to architecture, scalability, performance, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development using TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, database migrations, and Row-Level Security (RLS).

• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining serverless architectures.

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and services.

• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon SQS, and AWS IAM.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of application security best practices and the protection of sensitive data.

• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of ownership and accountability.

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, enabling effective collaboration with international teams.
