This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain subscription, renewal, and credit logic within a TypeScript service.

• Take responsibility for the reliability of webhooks and the accuracy of payment events from start to finish.

• Collaborate with payment processors and orchestration APIs, including authorization/capture, refunds, and retries.

• Implement automated testing alongside code development; partial credits and multi-cycle renewals present numerous edge cases that require more than manual QA.

• Engage in occasional light React tasks where your APIs interface with the checkout screens.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in production backend development using TypeScript/Golang.

• Practical experience in payments — you have been involved in billing, subscriptions, checkout processes, PSP integrations (such as Stripe, Adyen, PagSeguro, Pix, or similar), or other systems where accurate monetary transactions were essential.

• Proficiency in Postgres.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.

• Regular use of AI-assisted development as a standard part of your workflow — this is expected, not merely a bonus.

• Strong command of written and spoken English.

• Availability during US business hours.

• Experience with Go.

• Knowledge of GCP.

• Experience with React / React Native.
