Backend Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend services using Node.js and Rust for Nexus’s Layer 1 and DEX.

• Create APIs and data pipelines for trading, liquidity, and on-chain verification.

• Construct and maintain components of blockchain infrastructure (RPC endpoints, explorers, developer tools).

• Produce clean, well-tested code that facilitates verifiable financial applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in backend services development.

• Experience in building backend systems using Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, or comparable programming languages.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL, Prisma, or similar data storage solutions.

• Knowledge of API design, authentication processes, and performance enhancement techniques.

• Strong communication skills in Business English (both spoken and written).
