Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design and develop distributed systems based on microservices and events, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.

• Contribute to a new product and potentially to domains such as finance and internal operations at Tundr.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product, Design, Web & Mobile.

• Validate ideas and prototypes in partnership with the team.

• Manage integrations with payment systems, automation, and large data volumes.

• Contribute to the evolution of architecture and internal processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.

• Experience with event-driven microservices architectures.

• Solid knowledge of relational databases (design, scalability, transactions).

• Familiarity with at least one NoSQL database (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).

• Good understanding of git flow, pull requests, and associated reviews.

• Independence, initiative, and excellent communication skills.

• Experience with NestJS (nice to have).

• Knowledge of AWS, particularly Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, and DynamoDB (nice to have).

• Experience with GraphQL and/or gRPC (nice to have).

• Familiarity with DDD, TDD, and BDD (nice to have).

• Interest in fintech, payments, or compliance contexts (nice to have).
