Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications utilizing C# and associated technologies, including ASP.NET CORE and .NET Core.

• Construct efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access code to ensure minimal latency and optimal resource utilization.

• Collaborate with fellow developers and project managers to gather requirements and devise software designs.

• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Create automation tests and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they occur.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and maintainability.

• Remain informed about emerging trends and technologies in software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of experience in software development, primarily focusing on C#.

• Expertise in C# and related technologies, including .NET Framework, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MySQL, and MariaDB.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Advanced proficiency in relational databases (RDBMS), particularly MySQL and MariaDB, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English communication.
