Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of our highly scalable services.

• Evaluate the runtime and cost-effectiveness of our services.

• Take the lead in creating new services.

• Participate actively in technology assessments and discussions regarding architectural advancements.

• Collaborate with our infrastructure and application engineers to reassess the integration between our backend services and user-facing applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Rails (or another full-stack framework).

• Proficiency in k8s and Go (or another systems programming language).

• Familiarity with our technology stack (or similar): GCP/GKE, Linux, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Redis, ffmpeg.

• Experience in a SaaS or PaaS environment at a comparable scale.

• A curiosity-driven and pragmatic approach with a strong focus on achieving results.

• A generalist mindset capable of delving into a wide array of challenges.

• Resilience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex problems.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
