Backend Developer – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will design and manage scalable backend systems using C#.

• You will create and implement payment workflows with an emphasis on integrating Stripe.

• You will develop automated billing solutions and ensure their dependable functionality.

• You will integrate current billing systems into the backend infrastructure and enhance the related interfaces.

• You will play a role in the ongoing enhancement of backend architectures and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience and strong expertise in software development, particularly in C#, preferably within a backend or systems context.

• Experience in e-mobility.

• Familiarity with payment systems, ideally Stripe.

• Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, and technical data communication and integration.

• Basic understanding of legal and regulatory considerations in the payments and billing sector, especially concerning data protection and secure payment data handling.

• A structured, independent, and solution-focused approach to work.

• A collaborative team player with a passion for interdisciplinary teamwork.

• Proficiency in both German and English.
