Backend Developer, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You are enthusiastic about creating stable and scalable backend systems.

• Design, develop, and implement resilient and scalable backend services utilizing C# and .NET.

• Create and deliver RESTful APIs (including comprehensive API documentation) for our frontend and external partners.

• Integrate third-party APIs to ensure seamless data exchange.

• Implement authentication and authorization strategies, preferably using OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Develop and maintain data storage solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, whether on-premises or in the Azure cloud.

• Apply logging, monitoring, and tracing solutions to assess application performance and load.

• Ensure code quality through unit and integration tests along with code reviews.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git, GitLab, and GitLab Runners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend development with C# and contemporary .NET versions (.NET 8+).

• Proficient understanding of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.

• Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs and a keen appreciation for thorough documentation.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Comprehension and application of software architecture principles (e.g., microservices, Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design).

• Team-oriented with experience in code reviews and creating unit and integration tests.

• Enjoy collaborating across functions and actively engaging with frontend teams and other stakeholders.

• Solution-focused, analytical mindset with a structured approach to work.
