Backend Developer, Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Design service architecture utilizing Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles, including bounded contexts, aggregates, and a ubiquitous language.

• Develop core services using the Go programming language.

• Take ownership of the data layer, working with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse for analytics and time-series data.

• Create analytics solutions on ClickHouse, including detection aggregates, heat maps, and time-series analysis.

• Manage services on Amazon EKS, encompassing deployment, debugging, and scaling tasks.

• Establish a specification-driven development process for AI coding agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong proficiency in Go.

• Demonstrated expertise in applying DDD principles in real-world systems.

• Strong architectural acumen, including understanding service boundaries, data ownership, consistency, and scalability.

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code in a production environment.

• Experience in specification-driven development, particularly in creating processes around AI agents.

• In-depth experience with PostgreSQL and analytics databases such as ClickHouse, BigQuery, Redshift, and Snowflake.

• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in a production setting.

• Fluency or native proficiency in Russian (required).

• Proficiency in English at B1 level or higher.

• Availability for Central European working hours.
