Backend Developer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Integrate data from various business sources (CRM, analytics, BI) into a unified data layer.

• Develop and implement AI agents that carry out business tasks such as signal analysis, pricing strategies, content/SEO management, data classification, and tagging.

• Create MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that provide domain-specific data to agents and tools.

• Conduct data engineering tasks including schema design, ETL processes, synchronization, and data quality management.

• Contribute to the architecture of the agent platform, focusing on routing, cost control, access policies, and telemetry for LLM calls.

• Design and implement backend APIs that link the data layer with agents and front-end applications.

• Develop user-facing tools for business teams that leverage data and insights generated by agents.

• Oversee infrastructure management through containerization, database oversight, monitoring, and observability practices.

• Document architectural decisions and uphold rigorous contracts between system layers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong commercial experience (approximately 2 years) in backend development using Python.

• Practical experience with FastAPI or a similar modern web framework.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL, including schema design, query writing, and optimization.

• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Understanding of ETL and data synchronization concepts, including maintaining data consistency across systems.

• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering; a keen interest in developing agent-based systems.

• Comfortable using agentic AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) in daily development, with a strong discipline to critically assess their outputs.

• Capability to produce clear technical documentation.

• Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating directly with client-side teams.

• Proficiency in English sufficient for daily interactions with clients (B2+ / Upper-Intermediate).

• Nice to have: Experience with agent frameworks (Agno, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).

• Nice to have: Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).

• Nice to have: Basic skills in Next.js / React for front-end application development.

• Nice to have: Experience with observability and monitoring tools.

• Nice to have: Experience integrating with CRM, analytics, or BI systems.

• Nice to have: Background in enterprise or consulting projects.
