Back-End Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Identify and prioritize significant technical and product challenges.

• Design, code, and deliver high-quality, scalable applications using Node.js.

• Ensure that systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable under real-world conditions.

• Lead execution through collaboration with others rather than solely as an individual contributor.

• Collaborate with GTM Teams to guarantee that technical efforts drive business results.

• Monitor, manage, and iterate on live workflows; you are responsible for the quality and performance of what is in production, not just setting it and walking away.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in software development, including hands-on experience with deploying AI or LLM-powered workflows in production. This is a crucial requirement, not optional.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

• Experience in designing maintainable, scalable systems.

• Ability to write clean, structured, and testable code.

• Proficient in SQL: capable of writing complex queries from scratch.

• In-depth understanding of data structures and their impact on query performance.

• Experience with APIs and distributed systems: debugging integrations and system interactions.

• Familiarity with data flow across services.

• Strong problem-solving skills: capable of conducting root cause analysis across code, data, and systems.

• Experience operating in production environments: managing incidents, debugging issues, and handling escalations.

• Expert in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications.
