This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Work alongside the engineering team to create and enhance the backend systems of our CDN platform.

• Develop efficient and scalable APIs and services utilizing Python, Golang, and Kong.

• Create solutions to manage large-scale data processing, caching, and content delivery.

• Enhance system performance while ensuring high availability and low latency for content delivery.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and assist with CDN-related functionalities.

• Partner with DevOps and network engineering teams to deploy and sustain the CDN infrastructure.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to CDN and backend development.

• Engage in architectural discussions and offer innovative suggestions to improve our CDN platform.

• Experience in a startup or a fast-paced work environment is highly preferred.

• Strong expertise in Python, Golang, and Kong, with a dedication to writing clean, maintainable code.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design principles and experience in developing scalable APIs.

• Familiarity with caching mechanisms, load balancing, and content delivery concepts is a bonus.

• Knowledge of CDN technologies and protocols, such as HTTP, DNS, and caching algorithms, is beneficial.

• Experience with database systems and optimization of queries.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker) is an advantage.
