Back-end Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, sustain, and improve APIs and worker processes, focusing on quality, performance, and scalability.

• Execute integrations with external channels and partners, such as the Meta/WhatsApp Cloud API and messaging providers, utilizing HTTP and webhooks.

• Create, evaluate, and enhance SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server, considering large-volume databases.

• Build and uphold automated tests, including unit and acceptance tests, using tools and methodologies like xUnit and BDD/Gherkin.

• Analyze and resolve technical challenges, aiding in the ongoing enhancement of solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, fostering best practices in development.

• Assist in the modernization, refactoring, and upkeep of existing systems.

• Collaborate effectively with the team, sharing insights and pursuing efficient solutions to technical obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with C# and .NET, ideally .NET 6 or later, in live production settings.

• Proficiency in developing REST APIs, encompassing contracts, versioning, and error management.

• Strong expertise in SQL Server, including data modeling, indexing, execution plan assessment, and stored procedure creation.

• Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing, including queues, retry strategies, and idempotency.

• Understanding of and practical experience with automated testing embedded in the development workflow.

• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and code review processes.

• Awareness of Artificial Intelligence tools that enhance development effectiveness and quality.

• Bachelor's degree in technology or a related technical field.
