This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee incoming sales requests through email, phone, and Zoom.
• Create a new pipeline of potential clients utilizing various cold outreach methods.
• Perform structured discovery calls with potential advertisers and sponsors.
• Monitor performance and pinpoint upsell opportunities based on campaign outcomes.
• Maintain structured and empathetic communication with clients, ensuring they feel supported.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, content, and delivery teams to ensure campaign alignment and execution.
• Keep records updated in the CRM and manage contracts, invoices, follow-ups, and accounts receivable efficiently.
• Several years of experience in B2B sales, account management, advertising sales, sponsorship sales, customer success, or business development.
• Proficient in making cold calls and sending cold emails.
• Capable of conducting a structured discovery call.
• Skilled in asking insightful questions prior to delivering a pitch.
• Understands how to convey value beyond just pricing.
• Possesses a solid grasp of marketing concepts.
• Comfortable engaging with C-level executives, marketing managers, educators, therapists, and business owners.
• Capable of writing clear and professional emails.
• Able to quickly research a company and determine its potential as a prospect.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and diligent with follow-ups.
• Takes responsibility for results without needing constant oversight.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Willing to adhere to a defined sales process.
• Driven by revenue growth, client relationships, and the delivery of exceptional service.
