Azure Stack HCI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee, maintain, and provide support for the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure, which includes the creation, deployment, and management of virtual machines, storage, and networking components.

• Monitor the performance of the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving system issues as they arise.

• Ensure that Azure Stack HCI deployments adhere to the organization's security standards and compliance requirements.

• Implement and oversee access controls, firewalls, and encryption measures.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.

• Regularly test and validate backup and recovery procedures.

• Document system configurations, procedures, and any changes made.

• Maintain records related to system performance, issues encountered, and their resolutions.

• Provide technical consultation and guidance to IT teams, business units, and management.

• Collaborate with other teams on infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.

• Engage in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures for Azure Stack HCI.

• Identify potential performance issues proactively.

• Conduct regular backups of Azure Stack HCI data.

• Respond effectively to Azure Stack HCI outages and incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Stack HCI certifications are strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, particularly with Azure Stack HCI or similar technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Azure Stack HCI, hyper-converged infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking.

• Familiarity with Windows Server, Azure services, and associated Microsoft technologies.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.

• Eagerness to remain informed about the latest advancements in Azure Stack HCI and related technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Storage Spaces Direct.

• Experience with HCI architecture and design tools and technologies.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure Stack HCI.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
