Azure Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, guaranteeing peak performance and security.

• Manage and sustain identity services, encompassing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).

• Deploy, configure, and offer support for Azure AD components and associated services.

• Deliver daily operational support for cloud infrastructure and monitoring solutions.

• Implement and manage access controls, authentication methods, and identity protection measures.

• Assist in cloud migrations, including transitions from on-premises to Azure and VMware to Azure.

• Monitor system performance, address issues, and execute enhancements.

• Ensure adherence to security frameworks, policies, and best practices.

• Collaborate across departments with engineering, security, and operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Extensive experience at a senior level in cloud engineering, cloud administration, or network engineering.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are preferred.

• Experience in supporting enterprise or government cloud environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards is preferred.
