AWS IAM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the enterprise IAM architecture for AWS.

• Design and standardize IAM personas for services, applications, and users.

• Lead the enterprise-wide implementation of IAM persona frameworks across multi-account environments.

• Facilitate the transition from CloudFormation to Terraform for IAM roles, policies, and permissions.

• Establish IAM design standards based on least-privilege, RBAC, and ABAC principles.

• Architect the integration between AWS IAM and IDC solutions to support identity lifecycle and governance.

• Provide technical leadership, design insights, and architectural reviews for IAM engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an AWS IAM Architect within large-scale enterprise settings.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS IAM, including roles, policies, cross-account access, and federation.

• Strong proficiency with Terraform and IAM Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling IAM persona frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with IDC / Identity Governance integrations.

• Familiarity with AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and landing zones.

• Experience with Azure IAM, including Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, service principals, and managed identities.
