AWS DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, while automating infrastructure provisioning.

• Oversee Kubernetes clusters, focusing on availability, security, networking, and traffic management.

• Facilitate release coordination among teams, including Git workflows and database version management.

• Create observability tools (monitoring, logging, dashboards) and assist in incident response efforts.

• Collaborate with Development Leads to resolve deployment issues and establish infrastructure standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE managing production microservices on Kubernetes.

• Practical experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).

• Robust CI/CD knowledge (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).

• Familiarity with container technology and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar).

• Excellent communication abilities and a proactive, ownership-oriented attitude.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with service meshes (Istio, Envoy).

• Familiarity with database schema migration tools (e.g., Liquibase).

• Knowledge of artifact management (Nexus, ECR).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Node.js).

• Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee).

• Understanding of GitOps practices and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
