AWS Cloud Analyst/Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Assess AWS services to pinpoint security requirements and document them in standardized service enablement workbooks.

• Present service enablement workbooks for evaluation to the Cloud Standards Board (CSB).

• Collaborate with threat modelers to identify potential risks associated with specific AWS services.

• Develop and write code for automated controls aimed at securing AWS services.

• Oversee all control logic, configuration files, and documentation within Git repositories.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal teams concerning AWS architecture and service functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, JSON, and Terraform for automating cloud security controls.

• Understanding of various types of automated controls: Preventative, Proactive, Detective, Reactive, etc., as well as AWS Service Control Policies.

• Experience in managing Git repositories and familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices.

• Strong grasp of AWS Cloud Architecture and the security of core services (e.g., IAM, VPC, KMS).

• Experience in delivering technical analyses to expert panels or formal committees.

• Must be a US Citizen.
