AWS Certified AI Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, and implement AWS AI and ML services for intelligent automation, natural language processing (NLP), predictive analytics, sentiment analysis, and conversational AI.

• Design, develop, maintain, optimize, and support AWS AI and ML solutions tailored for IT Call Center operations.

• Collaborate on AI-enhanced AWS Connect functionalities, including Lex IVR/chatbots, Transcribe Call Analytics, and Connect Wisdom.

• Create predictive analytics and machine learning models to anticipate call volumes, foresee SLA risks, recognize performance trends, and aid operational decision-making.

• Implement NLP and sentiment analysis solutions to evaluate customer interactions and enhance quality assurance.

• Develop AI-driven workflow automation utilizing AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, and AWS Step Functions.

• Support SageMaker machine learning pipelines for model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

• Ensure alignment of solution designs with AWS architecture standards, security protocols, and FedRAMP requirements.

• Monitor model performance, accuracy, and operational impact; execute updates, retraining, and optimization strategies.

• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, model specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational runbooks.

• Offer technical expertise on AWS AI/ML capabilities, solution design, and responsible AI methodologies.

• Ensure adherence to federal security, AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, privacy, and responsible AI regulations.

• Develop training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for program personnel.

• Assist in business development and proposal initiatives with AI/ML narratives, solution concepts, and documentation of past performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited institution; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• Over 3 years of practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS AI and ML solutions within a structured IT service delivery or data-driven operational setting.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying solutions utilizing Amazon Lex, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Polly, and/or Amazon SageMaker.

• Familiarity with integrating AWS AI and ML services with cloud-based operational platforms and enterprise systems.

• AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification is mandatory at the time of hire.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Rekognition, Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Bedrock.

• Working knowledge of NLP, conversational AI, sentiment analysis, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech technologies.

• Proficient in Amazon SageMaker, including SageMaker Studio, SageMaker Pipelines, and SageMaker Model Monitor.

• Familiarity with AWS Connect's AI-powered contact center capabilities, such as Amazon Lex IVR/chatbot integration, Amazon Transcribe Call Analytics, Amazon Connect Wisdom, and Amazon Connect Customer Profiles.

• Proficient in AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, and AWS Step Functions.

• Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, model training and evaluation, feature engineering, deployment, and monitoring processes.

• Proficient in Python or similar scripting/programming languages.

• Familiarity with AWS security, IAM, data privacy, and FedRAMP compliance standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance as required.
