This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Identify, assess, and deploy AWS AI and ML service solutions to enhance IT Call Center operations.
• Design, develop, support, and refine AWS AI and ML solutions utilizing Amazon Lex, Polly, Comprehend, Rekognition, Transcribe, SageMaker, Bedrock, and other related services.
• Implement AI-driven contact center functionalities within AWS Connect, including IVR, chatbots, call analytics, and agent support.
• Create predictive analytics and machine learning models for forecasting call volumes, predicting SLA risks, analyzing performance trends, and facilitating operational decision-making.
• Develop NLP and sentiment-analysis solutions to assess customer interactions and aid in quality assurance.
• Build AI-driven workflow automation utilizing AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and associated services.
• Assist with SageMaker-based pipelines for the training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of custom machine learning models.
• Ensure solution designs comply with AWS architecture standards, security protocols, and FedRAMP requirements.
• Monitor the performance, accuracy, and operational impact of models; perform updates, retraining, and optimization as necessary.
• Generate technical documentation, architecture diagrams, model documentation, data-flow diagrams, and runbooks.
• Offer technical expertise regarding AWS AI/ML capabilities, solution design, and the principles of responsible AI.
• Facilitate staff training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, proposal efforts, technical solution concepts, and documentation of past performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline; relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Over 3 years of practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS AI and ML solutions.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying solutions using Amazon Lex, Amazon Comprehend, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Polly, and/or Amazon SageMaker.
• Experience in integrating AWS AI and ML services with cloud-based operational platforms and enterprise systems.
• AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification is required upon hiring.
• Expertise in AWS AI services such as Amazon Lex, Polly, Comprehend, Transcribe, Rekognition, SageMaker, and Bedrock.
• Familiarity with NLP, conversational AI, sentiment analysis, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech technologies.
• Proficiency in SageMaker Studio, SageMaker Pipelines, and SageMaker Model Monitor.
• Understanding of AWS Connect's AI-powered contact center functionalities.
• Proficient in AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, and AWS Step Functions.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, model training and evaluation, feature engineering, deployment, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python or other similar scripting/programming languages.
• Familiarity with AWS security, IAM, data privacy, and FedRAMP compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance as necessary.
