AVP, Engineering – Apps & Solutions

• Take ownership of the technical strategy for applications that engage members.

• Facilitate architectural evaluations and decision-making processes.

• Act as a senior engineering representative for key enterprise clients.

• Convey intricate technical realities in a clear and comprehensible manner to clients.

• Oversee engineering delivery for health-related consumer experiences.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Design teams.

• Manage performance evaluations with diligence.

• Lead the recruitment process for your teams.

• Foster an inclusive and high-trust team environment.

• Establish practices that enable effective AI-native delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of advancing experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles overseeing teams and engineering managers.

• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end delivery of intricate, enterprise-level SaaS products in B2B or B2B2C contexts.

• Extensive experience in developing and deploying member-facing or consumer-facing applications.

• Preferably, experience in health technology or enterprise healthcare SaaS.

• Strong architectural expertise in cloud-native systems (preferably GCP), microservices, and full-stack development (Go, React, mobile — Android and/or iOS).

• Exceptional executive presence; effectively communicate with confidence and clarity during client escalations, executive reviews, and cross-functional meetings.

• Knowledge of HIPAA, PIPEDA, or similar regulated data environments.
