AV Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Providing comprehensive audio-visual solutions, encompassing everything from initial design to project completion and client acceptance.

• Merging pre-sales design knowledge with post-sales technical support to guarantee the smooth execution of projects.

• Develop AV system designs and compile proposals, which include Design-Build documentation for audio, video, video conferencing, integrated control systems, and digital signage.

• Work closely with Sales and Project Managers to prepare material and labor estimates, identify equipment quantities, pricing, and installation needs according to customer expectations.

• Utilize expertise in advanced integrated audio, video, lighting systems, and digital signage to provide professional designs and engineering solutions.

• Offer technical consultancy to the Project Management Team, producing detailed functional system descriptions, block flow diagrams, and equipment lists to ensure successful project delivery.

• Assist in major project delivery while supporting other teams as necessary.

• Ensure that projects transition smoothly from inception to completion, adhering to quality standards and fulfilling client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of AV technologies, such as audio, video conferencing, integrated control systems, and digital signage.

• Capability to generate precise designs, documentation, and cost estimates.

• Exceptional collaboration abilities to work effectively with Sales, Project Managers, and technical teams.

• Demonstrated experience in overseeing complex projects and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Skilled in using MS Visio.

• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge and expertise in the design and integration of AV solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of construction management and experience collaborating with general contractors, architects, electrical contractors, etc.

• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Proactive mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time.

• Capacity to understand and clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Fluent in English.

• Adhere to health and safety standards required for site attendance.
